Contract & Project-Based Staffing
Fixed-term hiring goes wrong in the paperwork more often than in the hiring. Contracts that auto-convert because renewal was mishandled, end-of-service treated as though it does not apply, terms never authenticated — each creates a liability that surfaces at separation, when it is least convenient.
In short
Contract staffing covers hiring for a defined period or project rather than permanently. In Saudi Arabia a fixed-term contract carries specific requirements around duration, renewal and end-of-service treatment, and must be authenticated on Qiwa in the same way as any other employment contract.

Common questions
How do fixed-term contracts work under Saudi labour law?
Fixed-term contracts are permitted and widely used, but the rules on duration, renewal and what happens when a contract is renewed repeatedly are specific — and mishandling renewal can change the nature of the employment relationship. End-of-service entitlement is not avoided by using a fixed term.
Is contract staffing the same as placing workers under our supervision?
No. In contract staffing you are the employer — you hold the contract and the sponsorship, and you supervise. That is a direct employment relationship for a fixed period. Placing workers who remain another company's employees under your supervision is internal labour outsourcing, a separately licensed activity under MHRSD Resolution 60339.
