Shutdown & Turnaround Support
Turnarounds are unforgiving because the critical path is fixed and every day of overrun is measured in lost production. The resourcing problem is not headcount — it is having inducted, qualified, supervised people ready on day one rather than arriving through week one.
In short
A shutdown or turnaround is a planned window in which a plant stops production for major maintenance. It requires a large temporary increase in skilled resource, mobilised and inducted to site standards within a fixed schedule. SCPL provides that resourcing and supervision as a scoped service.
You're probably here because one of these is true
- A shutdown window is scheduled and resourcing is not confirmed
- A previous turnaround overran on mobilisation
If any of these describe your situation, say so in the enquiry — urgent cases are routed differently and we come back the same working day.

Common questions
How far in advance should turnaround resourcing be arranged?
As early as the schedule is known. The binding constraint is rarely finding people — it is completing inductions, certifications and site access for a large group before the window opens. Late arrangement means resource arriving during the critical path instead of ahead of it.
Is turnaround resourcing the same as labour supply?
Not as we structure it. Our personnel remain SCPL employees under SCPL supervision, delivering a defined scope — service outsourcing under MHRSD Resolution 60339. Placing workers under the client's direct supervision is internal labour outsourcing, which is separately licensed and carries obligations for the client as well as the provider.
