Under this law:

• Companies will now have one national CR applicable across all regions.

• CR numbers are permanent, and the registration is no longer renewed: its data is confirmed every year instead.

• New 10-digit CR numbers starting with “7” replace old regional codes.

2. Permanent CR Numbers

The Commercial Register Law, issued by Royal Decree M/83, replaced renewal with an annual confirmation of the registered data (Article 11). A registration not confirmed within ninety days of falling due is suspended, after a warning fourteen days ahead, and the suspension also suspends every licence issued under it (Article 15).

3. New Trade Names Law

Companies can now register English trade names and use them officially on licenses, contracts, and bank accounts.

  CRs are no longer renewed, but their data must be confirmed every year. Miss it by ninety days and the registration is suspended, along with every licence issued under it.

• Skipping Trade Name Updates:
