Commercial Registration & Licence Renewal Services

The Commercial Registration is the one everybody remembers. The others are the ones that cause the problem — a lapsed Baladiya licence or Civil Defense certificate surfaces when you are trying to do something else entirely, and by then it is urgent.

In short

A Saudi company's ability to transact depends on a stack of registrations staying valid: Commercial Registration, Chamber of Commerce membership, municipality (Baladiya) licence and Civil Defense certificate. If any lapses, unrelated transactions start failing. SCPL tracks every expiry across the stack and renews ahead of the date.

Step 2 of 4

Enquiring aboutGovernment relations, HR or payroll

How many employees does your establishment have?

You're probably here because one of these is true

  • A renewal has already lapsed and transactions are failing
  • You have multiple branches with separate licences and no central register
  • Renewal dates are tracked in someone's personal calendar

If any of these describe your situation, say so in the enquiry — urgent cases are routed differently and we come back the same working day.

Common questions

What happens if the Commercial Registration expires?

An expired CR blocks a wide range of activity — government transactions, banking operations and employee-related filings all depend on a valid registration. Because so much sits downstream of it, a lapsed CR tends to stop several things at once.

We have branches in more than one city. Do they need separate licences?

Generally yes — premises-level licences such as Baladiya and Civil Defense attach to the location, and branch registrations sit under the main CR. This is exactly where a central register earns its place, because the dates rarely align.
